Couples, Winter session III (Olga & Raimond)

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

A week ago I had another winter engagement session with a beautiful couple Olga and Raimond. They wanted to make several engagement sessions (winter/spring/summer) and an engagement movie, so we were lucky to catch the last weekend of beautiful snow.  We made some great shots, and video material thanks to Roman from ChewedFilm Entertainment (check out our videos on YouTube and Vimeo).

Now what did we learn from that session?

I learned that we should coordinate the photo and video scenes before the actual shoot, and maybe even make a plan of what shots we will do on each location, in order to rule out the conflict between the photo and video.

Couples, Winter session II

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

This week I made one couple shoot. It was -10 outside and we were able to work only for 1 hour so I didn’t get as much pictures I wanted. I hope when the weather will become warmer we will continue this photo shoot with them.

Today I spontaneously decided to write some things I learned after each shoot, cause there is always something new in every photo session.

Now what did we learn ?
I learned that I’ll think twice next time I want to shoot outside when there is ten degree below zero.

Vintage travelers

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Today I had a really interesting session with my good friends. I decided to make a retro style photos, something in retro train travelers style. So I searched my grandfathers country garret for props or stuff I can use for this session and found two vintage suitcases, just like in 50’s people used to travel with. We picked a nice location not far from my apartment, with railroad tracks and train hangars. As the weather was not so warm we were shooting for an hour or so, made some series of classic shots like “going away”, “catch that train” and other.
