As you all know from my website slogan I love when my insane photo dreams come to life, especially the instant ones. Last Saturday evening I decided that I want to shoot something original and colorful, we had two vivid outfits in stock, so we called our friend and she gladly agreed to take part in this photoshoot.
We started with some portrait shots and then continued with more avant-garde ideas. Had a ton of fun, and made some great photos.
On the weekend we decided to go to the town fair and make a small photo-session in Old Riga. I also wanted to make myself a challenge, to shoot only with my Tamron 90mm macro lens, because I use it very rarely and I really don’t like how long it takes to focus, sometimes it takes forever. But anyway it’s a pretty good portrait lens, with a beautiful bokeh on a shallow DOF, I like it more than my 50mm f1.8 lens. After spending some time with this lens I definitely got in touch with it and I decided not to sell it away. So lets move on to the photos we made that day.
Today I picked up the developed film from the lab and a preview of all photos.
autumn session lubitel 166
This autumn I decided not to go shooting landscapes, but to make a portrait session with my wife and sister. So we went to Sigulda, it’s a beautiful place in Latvia, it was an overcast day so the shadows was soft and smooth. Had some good time shooting. I also shot film with my Lubitel 166, didn’t finish the film so I’ll share those photos later.
