Vintage looking photos

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Want to make your photos look like old vintage photos? Try using this japanese website http://labs.wanokoto.jp/olds.

You don’t neet to understand Japanese to make your photos vintage, the interface is very simple. You can upload your image via browser or using a URL, then the application will convert your image and it will look something like this. You also can save your converted image to your computer. Have fun !

How to make a remote setup

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

You will need:

  • Camera
  • 2 different lenses
  • Angle finder (helps with the Low angle views from the camera position)
  • Table Top tripod
  • Roll of Gaffer Tape
  • 2 Pocket Wizards
  • pre-trigger cable to connect the PW to the camera

I’m not a sports photographer but I discovered some new tips from this video, I think that you will find something new too.

Not long ago I saw an interesting idea how to make a handy and simple grey card. All you need is an iPhone or iPod or any other multimedia device that can store images. Upload the gray card image to your iPhone and use it like a preset while you shooting your photos.
