Wednesday, August 11th, 2010Cops and Robbers
Friday, July 16th, 2010Another drop of creativity in my cauldron of insanity. Great session, girls were prepared for several photo sets, I love when clients are serious about their appearance, and do everything to look extremely cool. So at the beginning we made some warm-up shots, then we started to do our main idea “Cops and robbers”, and then we continued to have fun shooting some avant-garde Lady Gaga style photos. Had a lot of fun during a 5 hour photo session (I think this was the longest session I had so far).

At the Beach
Sunday, June 20th, 2010One day after the work, me and my wife decided to go at the beach. Also I wanted to test ND filters and my skill in assisting myself while shooting. ND4 filter that I bought from eBay, was pretty good, just needed some white balance tweaking and you are ready to shoot some wide apertures in a sunny day.
About self assisting, well, I didn’t show good results for myself, my 120×90 reflector always was unstable and too big to handle. It was a little windy at the beach, so I couldn’t focus my reflector with one hand and take shots with another hand. But I’ve made some good shots after all.
So what did I learn from that session?
Assistant – Priceless : )))
Spinner 360
Friday, June 11th, 2010The Lomography Spinner 360 is a new creation from the lomography society, it’s a rubber-band driven handheld snapshot 360 degree panorama camera. You hold the camera in one hand pull the cord with the other and in a split second you get the 360 panoramic view on your 35mm film. The frame more than 4 times longer than a conventional landscape picture.

Winter session IV (Anna)
Tuesday, March 9th, 2010So I decided to grab the winters tail and shoot one more session this winter. It was a sunny day 15:30, the sun was setting down, and we stopped not far from a TV tower and made our photo shoot.
So what did I learn from that session.
Once again, don’t make photo sessions when it’s cold and windy. Your brain freezes along with your body and you can’t think straight.
