Holga Splitzer – DIY Holgamods
One day I decided to make a holgamod for my camera and started with “Holga Splitzer“. Several days ago I had a delicious pizza diner and used the cardboard pizza box and some duct tape to make my “Holga Splitzer” – holgamod.
What do you need.
- cardboard box (or any other cardboard you can find)
- duct tape
- knife
You need to cut out a cross shaped figure with a quarter circle hole in it (or any other shape you want for a hole). You also neet to cut 2 lines on each side cause the tripod mount on your holga bottom will obstruct you from fitting your “Holga Splitzer” tightly.
How to use “Holga Splitzer“?
Put your “Holga Splitzer” on your Holga camera tightly, that cardboard touch the lens, make your exposure, then rotate the Splitzer and make another one.
So that’s pretty much it. The easiest way to make a “Holga Splitzer“.

Hey Randy, I thought about cutting my holga cap, but I decided to keep it in one piece, so I made this devise
Now I’m thinking how to upgrade my design and make something like the lomography splitzer.
