DIY gridspot for Bowens
When I’ve got my Bowens kit I had just 1 reflector, umbrella and a softbox. After some time shooting I realized that I need a gridspot, so I went to a photo store with my kit reflector. The salesmen said that they don’t have the grid for my kind of reflector and also my reflector doesn’t support gridspots. He suggested me a reflector with a gridspot for $100.
So I decided to make a grid by myself. I bought a pack of black drinking straws ($1), a glue ($2) and a piece of cardboard from the pizza box.

Next I made a circle out of a cardboard to fit inside the reflector. Then I cut a dozen of straws for about 2cm glued them inside the circle.

And the finale step was to glue 2 pieces of gaffer tape on the outer side of the circle it will help to get the grid out of the reflector.
